About loan against property EMIs
A loan against property lets you borrow against a house, flat or commercial property you already own. Rates are lower than personal loans because the loan is secured, and tenures can run up to 15–20 years.
Because the property is at stake, keep the EMI comfortably affordable. Lenders usually lend 50–70% of the market value of the property.

- Use the money for something that holds value or earns, such as business growth, not for spending.
- Compare processing fees and legal or valuation charges, which can add up on large loans.
- Ask about the floating-rate reset rules and the foreclosure terms.
